Open Access Policy

Asian Journal of Medical Research and Health Science is an open access journal that provides immediate, free, and permanent online access to all peer‑reviewed content upon publication, with no embargoes or paywalls.
The policy follows the BOAI-aligned DOAJ definition of open access, permitting lawful reading, downloading, copying, distributing, printing, searching, linking, text and data mining, and use for any other lawful purpose without prior permission, provided licensing terms are followed.

Access and reuse
All articles are available to readers worldwide at no charge immediately upon publication, and no registration is required to access full texts. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link, crawl for indexing, pass as data to software, and use articles for any lawful purpose consistent with the stated license.

Licensing
By default, the journal publishes articles under a Creative Commons License that permits broad reuse; the journal recommends CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. This license allows others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given and any new creations are licensed under identical terms.  The license terms are stated on the journal website, on every article’s landing page, and embedded in the full text (HTML and PDF) in a machine‑readable form, and are included in article metadata deposits.

Copyright and author rights
Authors retain copyright to their work and grant the journal a license to publish and distribute the Version of Record under the selected open license, with third‑party content clearly credited and exceptions noted where reuse rights differ. This approach supports funder and repository compliance while keeping article reuse rights transparent to readers and indexers.
